Agachaditos Informative Website
Project Summary
Agachaditos needed a modern and accessible website that would allow users to learn and share their experiences about agachaditos.
Problem
A group of students wanted a website that would allow people to learn and talk about agachaditos, a cultural phenomenon in Peruvian gastronomy. The idea was to create a space where stories and opinions related to agachaditos could be shared.
Solution
After meetings with the interested team, requirements were evaluated and two proposals were made.
Proposed Solutions
The two proposed solutions were:
- Informative Website: A website that displays information clearly and accessibly, where the content shown to all visitors is the same and reflects the mission of the Agachaditos team.
- Dynamic Website + Backend: A website that allows users to interact, share their experiences and opinions about agachaditos. This would require a backend to manage user-generated content and a database to store the information.
Chosen Solution
Due to increased development time and overall costs (development and infrastructure), as well as this being the first version to introduce their idea, the informative website was chosen.
Solution Development
Following an agile methodology and using designs provided by the Agachaditos team, the solution was developed in different phases:
- Requirements Analysis: Through various meetings, the client’s needs were defined and the project objectives established.
- Page Setup: Based on the provided design, the pages to be developed were agreed upon (Home, Community, Explore Agachaditos, About Us, Profile, Login).
- Development: The site was implemented using Astro, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, ensuring clean and maintainable code with Atomic Design. An integration with Waze was also included to make it easier to get to the Agachaditos.
- Deployment: The website was deployed on Amazon Web Services (AWS) using Amplify since it is a static site. Its reliability was verified both on computers and mobile devices.

The following pages were developed:
- Home: A page showing the 5 most visited Agachaditos.
- Community: A section dedicated to the community of Agachaditos lovers, where they can share their experiences and recommendations.
- Explore Agachaditos: A page that allows users to discover new Agachaditos through an interactive map.
- About Us: Information about the team behind Agachaditos and their mission.
- User Profile: A page where users can view their personal information.
- Agachadito Profile: A page showing detailed information about a specific Agachadito (location, description, photos, etc.).
- Login: Login page for registered users. You can log in as a guest.
Result
The Agachaditos informative website was successfully implemented, meeting the requirements established by the client. The solution was well received and stood out for its modern and accessible design.
